General Information: Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald is the hard-working son of Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald and Martin Fitzgerald. When both Martin and then Antonio (Luis’ older brother) disappeared, Luis assumed the role of “head of the household.” To Luis, this meant putting his family above everything else. After graduating from Harmony High School, he turned down college and stayed in Harmony to attend the police academy so that he could support his family. Luis hopes to make detective so that his mother will no longer have to be the housekeeper for the powerful, wealthy Crane family. Luis hates the Crane family because for years he’s believed that they were responsible for his father’s disappearance. However, lately he’s realized he doesn’t exactly hate all members of the Crane family. Ever since the day Sheridan Crane returned to Harmony the two have been drawn together. And while Luis may not want to admit it, he has fallen in love with this beautiful member of the Crane family. Will Luis and Sheridan get past all the obstacles that have been put in their path? Name: Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald
Mother: Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald
Father: Martin Fitzgerald, who disappeared without a trace when Luis was a young boy. Luis has always believed the Cranes were responsible for his father’s disappearance, and has vowed to find out the truth about what happened to his father.
Siblings: Theresa, Miguel, Paloma (who lives outside of Harmony with an aunt) and Antonio (who disappeared shortly after their father did)
Education: Harmony High School. Luis, a straight A student, was accepted into Ivy League colleges, but opted for the Police Academy instead, so he would be able to help support his family.
Occupation: Cop for the Harmony Police Department. Hopes to make detective soon. He was recently deputized by the FBI to be Sheridan’s around-the-clock bodyguard. Luis also runs the Harmony Youth Center.
Romantic History: Luis’ high school sweetheart was Beth Wallace, but he wasn’t able to commit to her after high school because he knew he had to put his family first.
Current Romantic Ties: Luis is deeply in love with Sheridan, but hasn’t been able to fully admit this to himself, let alone to Sheridan. He is still hurt from when she put the brakes on their budding relationship for no apparent reason and ran off to Paris. To his great relief, he recently learned she did not kill his father, thus removing what may have been yet another major obstacle in their path.

Favorite Pastimes: Playing basketball, spending time at the Youth Center, and saving Sheridan’s life!
Favorite TV show: Luis rarely has time for television…but he does try to catch "NYPD Blue."
