General Information: Since she was a little girl, Whitney Russell has had her mind on one thing: tennis. Whitney’s father, TC, had his dreams of a professional tennis career cut short by a mysterious leg injury, so he has focused all his hopes and dreams on Whitney. Much to her father’s delight, Whitney has dedicated her whole life to tennis. Unlike the “normal” teens around her, her mind has always been on her next practice or tournament, rather than on boys and falling in love. Whitney vowed to put that part of her life on hold until she had achieved her tennis goals. However, much to Whitney’s chagrin, her resolve seems to have melted since “bad boy” Chad Harris arrived in Harmony. Chad has gotten under Whitney’s skin and she’s developed obvious feelings for him…feelings she won’t even admit to herself. After all, Whitney’s always been the “practical” one, the voice of reason next to her best friend Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, who is led by her heart instead of her head. Whitney is afraid to give up her tennis racket and give in to her feelings for Chad. And after seeing the emotional ups and downs Theresa has gone through because of her love for Ethan, she is more determined than ever to keep her life right on course.
